Cut a strip

Cut a thin strip of paper, about a centimetre wide.

Wrap and mark

Lay it across the widest part of your nail bed and mark both edges.

Read the ruler

Flatten the strip against a ruler and read the millimetres.

Measure the widest point of each nail bed, then read across the rows. Take the size that fits most of your fingers — hands are rarely one size the whole way across.
